Technical Visit of PEB Manufacturing plant Arcedges Building India LLP

On 19/08/2023, the Applied Mechanics Department organized a technical visit to the Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) manufacturing plant of Arcedges Building India LLP. The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into PEB manufacturing processes and enhance their understanding of structural engineering applications in real-world settings. The primary objective of the technical visit was to familiarize students with PEB manufacturing operations and technologies. By observing firsthand, the processes involved in PEB fabrication, students were expected to augment their theoretical knowledge with practical experience, thereby strengthening their understanding of applied mechanics and structural engineering principles. A total of 70 students from various academic years participated in the technical visit, accompanied by faculty members. Prof. A. J. Patel served as the coordinator for the visit, overseeing the arrangements and facilitating interactions between students and industry professionals.
