In congruence with the directives of UGC and GTU, the institute has formed a Women Development Cell to empower women and maintain a dignified, congenial working environment for girl students, female faculty and staff members, whereby they can study, work and explore their full potential.

To create effective framework and practices which ensures equal rights and opportunities for women in family, community, workplace and in governance.

Objectives:

  • Organize seminars/expert lectures for female students and faculties on different aspects such as health, safety, life skills etc.
  • Creating social awareness to female staff members and students in the institute about the relevant issues related to women.
  • Create awareness and motivate the female students for startup /entrepreneurship in line with “ Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan”
  • To provide opportunities and organize programs for girls and female faculty and staff to be financially, mentally and emotionally empowered to promote their growth as individuals.
  • Provide counselling for resident and non – resident female students.
  • Provide a forum for discussion and interaction with eminent ladies.
  • Encouraging them to participate in the activities which are meant for their development as women.
