Webinar on Introduction to PLC SCADA

An interactive webinar session was conducted on “Introduction to PLC-SCADA” for pre-final and final year (Sem 6th and Sem 8th) students with a view to provide fundamental understanding of PLC-SCADA in area of automation of processes. The expert, Shri Sumit Nandha, Expert, Prolific Ltd., have delivered web based session on introducing significance and applications of PLC-SCADA in automation of process industries very interestingly. The history and developments in PLC upto the recent developments including the elements HMI, DCS viz. The session included PLC simulation software demonstration and basics of developing control logoc using ladder diagramme. The students have participated in good numbers (115 attendies includingstudents and Faculty) been interactive throughout the session since beginning and made the prgramme successful. This is to offer heartfelt thanks to the Head of the Department Electrical Engineering to permit and guiding for the said programme, the expert for sparing valuable time and the participants to make session interactive and interesting.
