Workshop On Internet of Things (IoT) & Cloud Computing

The Department of Computer Engineering & Information Technology arranged 2 days workshop on " Internet of Things & Cloud Computing" during 20-21 September, 2019. This workshop was aimed to get the practical exposure in the area of Internet of Things and Cloud Computing for the final students who have been developing the project in these domains. This project was funded by the DIC(Design Innovation Centre) and approved by the Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. 45 students of the final year had attended this 2 days workshop. On the first day, Students understood the Architecture of IOT, fundamentals of the IoT hardware and software ,how to work with various sensors and actuators. The Hands on sessions conducted for each concept and students did project for IoT applications. Second day , Students understood the Cloud Computing and its applications, Integration of Cloud and IOT and how to send Sensor data on cloud server . Participants did hands on for the same too.
