The Department of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering, Government Engineering College, Modasa, organized an insightful session on “Graduate Education Opportunities at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, USA” on 22nd July 2026 at 11:30 AM in the Mechanical Seminar Hall (6206). The program was organized for students of all departments with the objective of creating awareness about higher education opportunities abroad. The session was delivered by Dr. Ashokkumar M. Sharma, Associate Professor and Graduate Coordinator at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UA Little Rock), USA. Dr. Sharma shared valuable information regarding graduate programs, admission requirements, research opportunities, scholarships, assistantships, campus life, and career prospects available to international students. The session also highlighted the academic strengths of UA Little Rock and the pathways available for students aspiring to pursue higher studies in the United States. The event was conducted under the patronage of Dr. J. A. Vadher, Principal, GEC Modasa, and under the guidance of Dr. U. V. Shah, Professor & Head, Mechanical Engineering Department, and Dr. R. J. Jani, Associate Professor & Head, Automobile Engineering Department. The program was successfully coordinated by Prof. M. M. Madhikar, Dr. P. M. Mistri, Prof. M. G. Patel, Prof. H. I. Chaudhari, and Prof. K. V. Fadadu. The session was informative and interactive, helping students understand the opportunities available for pursuing higher studies in the United States and encouraging them to explore global academic and career pathways.
