The department of Science and Humanities has organized the two days remedial classes for those students whose performance is poor in the mid semester exam as part of RUSA activities during 29th and 30th November 2019. Total 8 sessions were arranged during two days of remedial classes. The department faculties, Dr. Mahesh Yeolekar-Asst. Prof in Mathematics and Dr. Ketan Naik- Asst. Prof in Mathematics conducted sessions. They covered topics partial differentiation and its applications, Rank of matrix, solutions of system of Linear equations, Fourier series, Improper Integrals. The lectures were very interesting and all the students enjoyed thoroughly. In every session, student actively participated by asking their queries and solving the examples asked by the faculties.
Government Engineering College, Modasa was established in 1984 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar in North Gujarat region with a view to spread out technical education in the region and hence promote industrial development. The institute was affiliated with Hemchandracharaya North Gujarat University (HNGU), Patan from 1984 to 2007. The institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad from 2008. It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
