Department of Computer Engineering & Information Technology had organized an Alumni Meet’22 on 02,January for former students at the institute. More than 200 alumni were registered for this meet.Telephonic confirmation was taken from all alumni. The meet was started at 10.30am with registration and breakfast at department building.Token of memory was given to all alumni present in the meet. Alumni were happy to meet their friends and faculties. They enjoyed taking selfie at selfie zone. There were interactive games and singing event for them. They were delighted to learn about the progress of the department in past few years. They promised to support the placement.
Government Engineering College, Modasa was established in 1984 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar in North Gujarat region with a view to spread out technical education in the region and hence promote industrial development. The institute was affiliated with Hemchandracharaya North Gujarat University (HNGU), Patan from 1984 to 2007. The institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad from 2008. It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
