5-Days (One Week) ATAL Sponsored Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Advances in Waste Treatment Technologies” was conducted from 23rd-27th AUGUST, 2021 in which around 75 participants from different parts of the country participated. The inauguration was held on 23 August 2021 online at 10:00 am. Chief Guest of the programme was Dr. G.P.Vadodariya (Principal, Government Engineering College, Bhavnagar & Dean Faculty of Engineering, Gujarat Technological University), Guest of Honour of the function was Dr. B. J. Shah (Principal, Government Engineering College, Modasa) and Dr. U.K. Khare (HOD, Civil Engineering Department) and Coordinator of this FDP, Prof. S. S. Singh chaired the function. Chief Guest. Dr. G.P.Vadodariya addressed the participants and talked about the challenges faced in waste treatment. He also told participants to take maximum benefit from different AICTE faculty development schemes. Dr. B.J. Shah talked about the ATAL faculty development programme and told the participants to take maximum benefit of the programme. Purpose of this training is To provide a forum for dissemination of advanced knowledge and information on waste treatment technology to scholars, researchers, academicians and engineers, To provide an arena for the sustainable waste management practices in context to India and developing countries, To act as a place for exchanges of new knowledge and experience, creations of cooperation networks in research among academicians, researchers and engineers in advance waste treatment technology.
