Teacher's Day is celebrated in India every year on 5th September to appreciate the role played by teachers in the life of students–the leaders of tomorrow. When Radhakrishnan became the President of India, some of his students and friends requested him to allow them to celebrate his birthday, on 5 September. He replied, Instead of celebrating my birthday, it would be my proud privilege if September 5th is observed as Teachers' Day. His birthday has since been celebrated as Teacher's Day in India. We BRIDGE Club have also celebrated Teacher's day on 4th September 2021 by organizing 2 events. 1) lectures by student and 2) Short story writing. Total 25 students have participated and enjoy the events.
