A PROJECT EXPO was organized in Electrical Engg. Dept. on 22nd April, 2016. The students of 8th Sem. Electrical exhibited their projects in the Electrical Machine laboratory of the department. There were 35 groups, each of 4-5 students who exhibited and demonstrated their projects. Top offcials from UGVCL were invited to visit the exhibition. Superintendent Engineer, UGVCL, Himmatnagar, Shri. H. D. Rathod was the chief guest of the Expo. Deputy and Junior Engineers also visited the expo and interacted with the students. Media persons and press reporters were present at the occasion and wide publicity of the Project Expo was done in various TV channels and newspapers of Aravalli district.
Government Engineering College, Modasa was established in 1984 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar in North Gujarat region with a view to spread out technical education in the region and hence promote industrial development. The institute was affiliated with Hemchandracharaya North Gujarat University (HNGU), Patan from 1984 to 2007. The institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad from 2008. It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
